A very brief history : in summary form
I was fortunate enough to gain a steady grounding in formal programming languages and coding strategies at the University of York. I graduated from the Computer Science Department as a Bachelor of Engineering in 2000. During my degree I found myself particularly drawn to user interface design and gained a valuable insight into human perception.
That summer I was offered a research post within the human computer interaction team looking into audio-tactile interfaces and submitted a paper that was published in the following year.
Since then I have been lucky enough to develop a close relationship with Fifty Nine Ltd and Freak Design amongst others and have worked with them in a freelance capacity over the last four years. This relationship has given me a unique perspective on graphic design and coupled with my strong coding background and keen understanding of optimized site design, has allowed me to develop sites I can honestly say that I am proud of.
