Key Site Features :-
This project had a very interesting requirement that the styles for structural elements (menu, headers, titles etc.) could be switched between black on white and white on black by the site administrator via the CMS on a page by page basis.
This enables 59 to create black or white background images and set these for use on individual pages within the site. 59 are therefore able to create new background images for each new project they create and give each project its onw look and feel. We also created a CMS that would allow 59 to specific each individual page's keywords and description tags to future proof the search engine optimization of each new page.
The pages with the site can be either single column or double column (exc, the navigation column) and this is entirely controlled by 59 from within the CMS. This structure is gained using my own 'page segment model' and enables 59 to create multiple headings & structure text, insert images and embed raw HTML elements (such as YouTube elements) within their pages and the dynamic display logic automatically styles the elements accordingly. This allows 59 to produce a wide range of visually engaging page elements whilst the site maintains valid and concise HTML that is highly optimized for search engines.
